MEMBER MEETING MINUTES - DECEMBER 01, 2010
12.1 This is the Monthly Report from Dec 1, 2010 written by Secretary Phil Alvaro.
12.2 We had a Call to Order at 7:30 PM and held the Pledge of Allegiance.
12.3 Secretary Phil Alvaro read his notes from the meeting of November 3, 2010. They were accepted with one amendment; two Winchester trap machines had been sold rather than one.
12.4 Vice President Alice Kincaid presided over the meeting as the interim President of the club. She reported: Blackhawk Security is willing to conduct a class for a Utah pistol permit; it would be for $75, with $25 going back to the club. Matt Laniak’s correct phone number was also clarified. There will be a BOD meeting on December 7, 2010. Again, people should be able to use the website for information and contact the officers if there are questions or concerns.
12.5 Treasurer Al Herdklotz was present. He reported revenue for the month of $3,068 and expenses of $1,223.62 giving us a profit of $1,844.38.
12.6 Field Captain Carl German was not present.
12.7 Officer of Fish and Game Cliff Dickenson was not present.
12.8 Officer of Grounds Bob Smith mentioned there was a slight leak in the roof of the High House.
12.9 Officer of the House Mal Traub had no report.
12.10 Quartermaster Tom Conroy recommended that the Wednesday Senior Shooters kick-in additional monies for plates, silverware, and condiments being used.
12.11 Officer of Competitive Shooting: Roger DeBurgomaster mentioned Inland Waters events at the Livingston County League and at the club in Victor. There will be an event held at the club on December 19, during which all the ranges would be closed until 1:30 PM.
12.12 Officer of Training/Sportsman Education Dave Arft had no report
12.13 Old Business - There was no old business.
Under NEW BUSINESS
12.14 Officer and Director elections were held for 2011.
12.15 The driveway will need to be plowed. Roger will contact someone on Homer’s behalf.
12.16 Mal Traub reported that he and Dave Arft received a set of shot up silhouettes in the mail. They contacted the sheriff’s department and turned over a listing of club member names for their investigation.
12.17 We are looking for recommendations for DEC camp.
12.18 New Members Approved that evening: Robert Jacobsen, Jim Davidson and John Davidson
12.19 New Members presented that evening: Sal DiBiase and Mike Fettas
12.20 There were approximately 40 Members present that evening.
12.21 A 50:50 Raffle was conducted.
12.22 Don Thorpe entertained us with a joke.
12.23 The Meeting was adjourned at 7:57 PM.
